Tokenization for Heartland credit card processing. In the past, you may have written down a customer's credit card information, or saved it in a software, to avoid having to re-contact the customer, but this violates PCI regulations. Tokenization solves this problem. This new feature allows you to save a secure token that is associated with a credit card. This token gives you the ability to process a customer's credit card through either the PAX D200 or PAX S300 terminals, then place this credit card on file with QFloors. QFloors will save a token (not a credit card number) that can be used in the future to make purchases with the same credit card. The beauty of this is that you will get the lower swipe rate, even when the card isn't present. So if you take a deposit while the customer is in the store, you can charge the card again for the balance without re-keying the card number, and you still get the lower swipe rate. For telephone orders, you can also save a token that can be used to pay off future balances without needing to contact the customer again for additional credit card information. In addition, you can save a credit card token for any customer account in QFloors. This feature could easily save thousands of dollars a year, even for the smallest retail stores. Note that this feature is only available for terminals connected to QFloors (the PAX D200 and PAX S300 machines).

2017 Payroll Withholding Tables - Version 6.545 works with the 2017 payroll withholding tables. If you have paid for those tables, you will receive an e-mail with instructions for downloading them. IMPORTANT! If you are going to pay your W-2 employees in 2017 through QFloors using the 2016 payroll withholding tables, after you install this QFloors update you need to download and install the 2016 tables again [Tax Table 2016 (12/29/2015 R1) on the Updates page of our website]. If you are going to pay only 1099 installers through QFloors, you do not need to re-install the 2016 tables. California CARE Rate Change - Effective January 1, 2017, the California CARE rate is $0.25 per square yard (https://carpetrecovery.org/california-carpet-stewardship-assessment-to-increase-on-january-1-2017/). QFloors version 6.545 will calculate CARE at this new rate, so be sure to install this update right away.

AP Aging - Added export feature POS Mode - Each computer can have this mode either on or off. If it is on (Setup/Misc/POS Mode), the user will see a new popup window when filling out a customer sales order. Selecting the "Style" box will cause the box to appear. This box will allow you to scan a barcode or type an SKU number directly. If the selected product had "Each" units, then rest of the line is filled out and the box will automatically appear for line #2. Using this feature you can completely fill out a sales order without touching the keyboard. Voided Check - automatically clear a voided check at the time it is voided.
