It’s hard to believe the year is half over. Before you know it, we will be busy at work preparing for tax season. Have you heard of our End of Period Procedures document? If not, you should familiarize yourself with these procedures. You can easily run through these steps as part of your month end closing procedures.

Even if you don’t close monthly, it’s a good idea to run the reconciliation tools periodically to make sure things are getting input and saved correctly in the software.

I recommend not waiting until the end of the year to learn about this, because it is so much easier to find and fix errors as they happen, rather than going back and trying to figure it out after-the-fact. Also, the call volume at QFloors Support typically triples in the months of December and January due to year end accounting questions, so if you wait, you might experience longer-than-usual hold times when you call us.

If, after looking at the End of Period Procedures document, you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’d be happy to help step you through them. (And we speak from experience when we add --the sooner, the better!)
