The challenge:
Integrity Carpet needed an easier, quicker way to manage and post payments for their complex multi-family projects. When the client would send a check covering flooring jobs for more than 50 different properties, owners Ricardo and Heysi Fuentes would have to painstakingly search for and match each individual project invoice towards the payment.
With the system they were using at the time, the process was incredibly complicated. Something as simple as forgetting to add one invoice required them to start again from scratch, and posting a large payment could take days. Because multi-family customers are an integral part of their business, they needed a more efficient way to match multiple invoices to a single check.
To make matters worse, the flooring software was so difficult to use that sales staff couldn’t even close out jobs, which meant Heysi had to step in and fix things afterward. The system also failed to produce accurate financial statements, and sales reps couldn’t job cost before closing a sale. As a result, proposals were often created without a clear picture of actual costs or margins, overhead expenses like freight were sometimes overlooked, and profit margins suffered.

All sales reps now job cost every single proposal before finalizing. Heysi and Ricardo report that this protects their margins, and has raised profits. We are averaging 8-12% sales profits growth, year over year, since incorporating QFloors. Of course some years have been much higher than that, but that is the overall average.
In addition, because everyone in the company is using the software to do their jobs, it has added a greater degree of freedom to owners Heysi and Ricardo. We were recently able to go to Alaska for 7 days. We never would have been able to do that before QFloors!
